Introduction

These terms apply to purchases of goods from shop.vidsyn.io. They follow the Norwegian Consumer Authority's standard terms for consumer purchases online. Consumer purchases are governed by, among others, the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act, the Right of Withdrawal Act, the Marketing Act and the E-commerce Act.

1. The agreement

The agreement consists of these terms, the information given in the ordering flow and any separately agreed conditions. Where they conflict, separately agreed conditions prevail unless they contradict mandatory law.

2. The parties

The seller is Vidsyn Consult Benjamin Eliel Rødstien (sole proprietorship), Norwegian organisation number 924 752 556, Valleveien 454, 3967 Stathelle, Norway. Web shop: shop.vidsyn.io. Email: shop@vidsyn.io. The buyer is the consumer placing the order.

3. Price

Prices shown are total prices including VAT. Shipping costs 99 kr. Orders with goods for 699 kr or more ship free. Free shipping does not apply to orders that use a discount code. Shipping is shown at checkout before you pay.

4. Conclusion of the agreement

The agreement is binding on both parties once the buyer has sent the order to the seller. It is not binding if there was a typing or input error in the seller's offer or in the buyer's order, and the other party realised or should have realised the error.

5. Payment

You can pay with card (via Stripe) or Klarna (via Stripe) at checkout. The amount is reserved when the order is placed and charged when the goods ship. If you place an order without paying at checkout, we contact you by email to arrange payment before the goods are shipped. We do not store card or account details.

6. Delivery

Goods are sent with PostNord to the parcel locker you choose at checkout. If you choose none, the parcel goes to the nearest pickup point. PostNord notifies you when the parcel is ready for pickup. Delivery time is confirmed in the order confirmation or by email. If no delivery time is agreed, delivery takes place without undue delay and no later than 30 days after the order.

7. Risk

Risk for the goods passes to the buyer when the buyer has taken possession of them in accordance with the agreement.

8. Right of withdrawal

You may cancel the purchase under the Right of Withdrawal Act. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day you received the goods. Notify us by email within that period. You may use the Consumer Authority's withdrawal form, but it is not required.

The goods must be returned within 14 days after you notified us. You cover the return cost. We refund the purchase price without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving your notice, but may withhold the refund until we have received the goods or proof that they have been sent.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that deteriorate or expire rapidly, or to sealed goods which for health or hygiene reasons are not suitable for return once the seal is broken, such as opened coffee bags.

9. Delay and non-delivery

If the seller fails to deliver or delivers late, and this is not caused by the buyer, the buyer may under chapter 5 of the Consumer Purchases Act withhold payment, demand performance, cancel the agreement and/or claim damages.

10. Defects and complaints

If the goods are defective, you must notify us within a reasonable time after you discovered or should have discovered the defect. That period is never shorter than two months from discovery. Complaints must be made no later than two years after you took possession, or five years if the goods are meant to last significantly longer.

For a defect you may under chapter 6 of the Consumer Purchases Act withhold payment, choose between repair and replacement, demand a price reduction, cancel the agreement and/or claim damages. Send complaints to shop@vidsyn.io.

11. Seller's rights on buyer default

If the buyer does not pay or fulfil the other obligations under the agreement, and this is not caused by the seller, the seller may under chapter 9 of the Consumer Purchases Act withhold the goods, demand performance, cancel the agreement and claim damages. Late payment may incur statutory interest and reminder fees.

12. Personal data

We process your name, email address, phone number, address and order details to complete the purchase, send the order confirmation and deliver the goods. Data is shared only as needed with the payment provider (Vipps, or Stripe for card and Klarna), the email service and PostNord. When you enter your address and postal code at checkout, they are sent to PostNord to find nearby parcel lockers, and for delivery PostNord receives your name, address and contact details. PostNord is an independent data controller for its own processing. You can request access, correction or deletion by contacting us.

13. Complaints and disputes

Send complaints to shop@vidsyn.io within a reasonable time. We try to resolve disputes amicably. If we cannot agree, you may complain to the Norwegian Consumer Authority (forbrukertilsynet.no). The EU online dispute resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/odr) may also be used. Disputes are governed by Norwegian law.
